Gex Is Back With Complete PS1 Trilogy Coming To Consoles & PC

gex trilogy

Limited Run Games has been on a role recently, with massive announcements such as Disney Gargoyles Remastered, TMNT Vinyl reveals and the revival of a new Shantae GBA Game.

But to round out their summer show case Limited Run Games ended with “one more thing”, and that one more thing was a small tease that Gex is returning.

The video revealed Gex’s new look while paying respects to James Bond’s intro, and Metal Gear Solid.

The reveal was simply a tease, so there was no look at gameplay, no official box art (we made the one you are seeing) nor any release dates.

But that said, we do have information that this will likely be a remaster of the classic PS1 games, for example, the Complete Trilogy will feature Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko.

Making it the first time you can please these games on modern consoles, including being available on Steam!

It’s about time we saw the return of Gex, it’s one of the best PS1 games of all time, and a well known character that can take on the likes of Crash Bandicoot and Sonic The Hedgehog if done right.

Limited Run Games has yet to reveal any more information about this game, but it’s likely pre-orders will open up towards to the end of the year.
