After multiple delays and a seriously upset community of Analogue 3D customers, there is now, finally, video footage of the console "released" by Analogue themselves.

I say "released" because Analogue have yet to promote this video clip. It was actually found by a keen-eyed retro gamer known as Pixel Cherry Ninja on YouTube who dived into press release folders and realised that there was an uploaded clip on the 31st August that had never been seen before.

Likely, Analogue have recently uploaded this clip, in preparation for a wider press push, so no doubt it will be published on their official accounts soon.

That said, here's an early look, which showcases the console in person, and gameplay of the console testing 1080 Snowboarding on Nintendo 64 with its official cartridge.

It's our first official look at the console in video form, and as much as I have been disappointed with Analogue's customer service over the years, there's no denying it's a beautiful, minimal take on one of the best consoles of all time.

Inserting the cartridge looks us cumbersome as it did back in the day; the on/off switch slides up diagonally, which is a unique way of doing so, and it seems the wireless controller sinks instantly with a press of a button.

The gameplay itself is minimal, actually, non-existent, as it simply shows the 1080 Snowboarding start screen, not actual gameplay, but it's better than nothing and likely a sign that indeed, the Analogue 3D is almost ready.

Hopefully we see more footage over the coming weeks, because... well, it's meant to be releasing in Q4... "meant to".
