Evercade have been on a roll with cartridge releases for many years now, alongside an updated version of the Evercade EXP and Evercade VS consoles last year with a new EXP-R and VS-R names.

To spice up the scene and give avid Evercade collectors some excitement, Evercade has revealed a new colourway for their EXP-R and VS-R consoles and are available to pre-order as of today from the likes of Funstock, spotted by Time Extension.

Not only that, these come independently without being bundled with games or accessories making it an affordable option for those that want to "upgrade".

This new product is being called the EXP-R "Solo" or the VS-R "Solo" to signify that its the newer colour which takes inspiration from the original NES and doesn't come with any goodies.

Nothing prominent changes with the consoles hardware or software and is simply a new refreshed look for those who have been wanting to pull the trigger or for those that want to add this variant to their collection.

This also means the pricing stays the same, with the VS-R Solo starting at £89.99 and the EXP-R Solo starting at £99.99. Both will ship on September 25th 2025 for those that pre-order.
