Bitmap Books has officially revealed a new book which I know many retro gamers will likely enjoy, especially if you have a history of experiencing many of the greatest consoles ever made.
Titled "Leaps + Bounds: a Visual Guide to Nine Console Generations", this hardback, coffee table book goes back through the history of consoles that changed how we all game.
Although there are no actual in-person photographs of the consoles (which I would have liked to have seen), there's a wide range of beautiful illustrations and screenshots of video games that made each generation incredibly popular.
The forward is written by Christoper Taber, the CEO of Analogue, a brand that creates impeccable retro-focused consoles such as the Analogue Pocket.
