This device was "leaked" a few weeks ago, but has now been officially revealed by ANBERNIC themselves and it was exactly what we had hoped for.

ANBERNIC has officially revealed the "RG DS" a dual-screen device aimed specifically at emulating Nintendo DS games on a clamshell device with two screens.

The best part? They're pricing it "under $100" which is what many of the handheld community has asked for. This likely means $99, but it's still a price that I believe will entice many clamshell gamers.

Revealed first on their YouTube channel, this video showcases a few new features that was not leaked, the first and most obvious being the choice of new colours.

It will come in Red, Blue, White, Blue and Transparent White, which is the first time ANBERNIC has done something like this, creating a full transparent device that looks like ice.

This is trying to be as close to the original Nintendo DS as possible, so much as advertising a stylus (that is likely not included) on the video thumbnail. 3DS emulation may be possible, but the price point shows that it's likely not going to be all that powerful, nor does the top display support 3DS screen ratio unless you have black borders.

Only time will tell, we'll be getting this into review so stay subscribed to our YouTube channel to be the first to see that.
