2025 is slowly slipping us by, and as we move towards the middle of July and more than halfway through the year, we still haven't received the Analogue 3D we placed orders for back in October 2024. The consoles were set to ship back in Q1 of this year, though as we feared, the company posted a message stating that this initial window would have to be pushed back to July 2025.
On March 19th, I reported on the message from Analogue mentioned above, stating that they were 'working hard to get your 3D order in your hands asap and appreciate your patience. If you have an open preorder, no action is needed.' Sure, we could cancel our pre-orders, but it would have been better to have the console we'd been dreaming of since October 2023 in our hands rather than missing out completely.
The problem is that we never heard anything else from Analogue after that, and our emails were met with a stony silence. Well, one patient fan who has reached out to Analogue has received a response as to the future of the console, and it seems that the July distribution date is still locked in!

After being contacted by @TouchGen on our website, I asked if we could have a look at the message they were sent from Analogue. The message received by TouchGen today confirms that orders for the Analogue 3D are scheduled to ship this month, and that we'll get an email approximately a week before the shipping date.
By my calculations, that means that we should be getting an email anytime now, with shipping next week. The fact that Analogue used the words 'scheduled to ship' makes me think that the consoles are ready to roll and 'in hand', so all signs are pointing to them actually fulfilling their delivery promise!
As always, I'll update you with news once I receive my delivery email, so keep your eyes peeled for more news as and when I get it. I can't wait to play Banjo-Tooie on this thing, and I'll finally be doing it before the month is out!
