The AYANEO Pocket Air Mini is one of my favourite retro handhelds to come out in 2025. It's portable, it's powerful, the 4:3 display fits my retro games perfectly, and it looks beautiful.
It originally comes in three colourways: Black, Retro White and Retro Grey, which isn't a lot to choose from i'll be honest. AYANEO have typically stuck to a few colourways in many of their releases, but sometimes they do go a little crazy with their limited editions.
Many of their handhelds in the past have had limited edition collaborations with the popular Chinese duck that is B. Duck, and the Pocket Air Mini and its software are getting that love.

Shown on the YouTube channel NITTRX, which has shown off new products in the space before (I believe they are located in China), reveals the official B. Duck version of the AYANEO Pocket Air Mini, alongside the packaging.
We were made aware this was coming by AYANEO themselves, but didn't want to break the news respectfully, but seeing as it's now public, well, here it is!
It follows the previous B. Duck limited edition consoles by AYANEO in the sense that it has the yellow shells, yellow sticks, yellow buttons and signature fonts, logos and illustrations of the big yellow duck himself. If you like Yellow... well, you'll like this.

Though the YouTuber has access to this new edition, they don't share much information regarding pricing or availability, not to mention the fact that it could come with a custom front-end with B. Duck styling.
That we also do not know yet, but it's likely that this variant may be slightly more expensive, pushing the device over the $99 threshold, but only time will tell.
A sample unit is arriving with me in a week or so, which means this will be officially revealed very soon. We just wanted to give you a heads up. We'll update this article with official information when we have it.
