Sony’s latest console is arriving this holiday season, but what’s the PS5 pricing, and from what date can you grab one?
In this article, we take you through all of the new details revealed in Sony’s latest livestream reveal.
We’ve seen some incredible gameplay from franchises such as Final Fantasy and Call of Duty, with real-time clips showing just exactly what this epic console can do.
From the bad-ass knight in Demon Souls to that creepy Harry Potter elder wand-style story in Resident Evil: Village, we’re insanely impressed with the capabilities of Sony’s new machine.
Although I think we weren’t the only ones who breathed a sigh of relief when we found out that the live stream wasn’t all going to be shots captured on a PC!
We’re excited about the new Harry Potter fable-style game ‘Hogwarts Legacy’; you know we’re gonna’ be evil!
PS5 Pricing

There we have it, folks; the official PS5 pricing for the newest console on the block.
After a showcase of some of the best new games coming out for the system and a Death Star assault run around the edge of the console near the fans, we finally got down to how much money we’ll need to pay to own one.
Although this was the only part of the live stream that actually talked about the console itself, it’s given us everything that we needed to know.
Players can choose to get a PS5 with a physical disc drive if they like collecting game cases to keep on show.

But in a world where we stream pretty much everything and people can only afford to live in cupboard-less boxes, Sony has also brought out a physical version with no disc drive for downloadable content only.
It’s 100 coins of your country cheaper (90 in the UK because we have to be different…), but it’ll all depend on your personal preference.
Personally, I think that I’d be going for the digital edition. It’s a nice price, and the system has more than enough storage capabilities to be able to handle all the games I’m gonna be downloading!
PS5 Release Date

Good news for USA, Japan, Mexica, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. You guys get to play on November 12th 2020.
That’s a week earlier than us European gamers who have to wait till November 19th!
With release dates around 2 months away, Sony will be going hard on their marketing over the Holidays.
And after that live stream, every kid in the world is putting one of these on their wish list.
Only time will tell how long stocks will last and if Sony can keep up with demand.
Let’s hope that they don’t do a Nintendo and run out before Christmas!
PS5 Specifications

I know that you’re excited by that dynamic PS5 pricing, but let’s talk design and spec for a minute.
The dual-sense controller with enhanced haptic feedback is going to be so nice to use, and it matches the sleek look of the console too.
It kind of reminds me of a First Order Stormtrooper from Star Wars, just with triggers and sleek-looking buttons.
We’re excited about checking out that dual-charging dock for the controllers that popped up on the live stream too!

A lot of memes went around about the PS5 looking like a WiFi router, but I think it looks awesome. It’s pretty futuristic if you ask me, and the white exterior will make it look at home in even the swankiest of apartments.
Here’s the full low-down about the PS5 specs –
- 4K gaming

Play has no limits when the PS5 is concerned, especially when you consider the number of downloadable PS4 games you can play straight away from PS Plus when you buy the console.
The graphics are insane; the PS5 pricing is affordable, especially if you don’t want to keep hold of discs; and the sheer variety in the upcoming titles shows that the PlayStation team are still devoted to making something for everyone.
We can’t wait to get our hands on one!
