New N64 Games On Switch Leak – Everything We Know

  • November 2, 2021

Get ready to feel like a kid in a candy store; we’ve got all the information on the New N64 Games on Switch leak right here!

Yes, with news about the upcoming N64 & Sega Switch Online subscription on Nintendo’s portable handheld spinning everyone into a mass frenzy, it’s only natural that eager beavers are already beginning to delve into masses of code to try and uncover more secrets.

What would we do without data-miners, eh?

So, without further ado, let’s crack on and find out everything that we know about what games have been found in the leak and what this could make Nintendo’s game streaming platform look like.

Unpacking the New N64 Games On Switch Leak

So, if you’re a retro gaming fan, then the chances are that you already know the fact that classic N64 games are coming to the Switch.

There are also Sega games dropping too, but we can always use the Sega Mega Drive mini for that…

For a measly £34.99 for an annual membership ($50 in the US), Switch owners can instantly get access to classic N64 titles including Mario Kart 64, LylatWars, Yoshi’s Story, and many more.

And even before the leak, Nintendo has confirmed that the six more games are on the way. Here’s the full list, with the upcoming games shown by an * afterwards.

  • Banjo-Kazooie *
  • Dr. Mario 64
  • Mario Tennis
  • Sin and Punishment
  • Mario Golf *
  • Mario Kart 64
  • Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards *
  • Paper Mario *
  • Pokemon Snap *
  • Starfox 64
  • Super Mario 64
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask *
  • WinBack: Covert Operations
  • Yoshi’s Story

Which Other N64 Games Have Been Leaked?

The list doesn’t end there, however.

Thanks fo Twitter user MondaMega, we’ve discovered that data miners have deduced that the list could be as large as 38 games available to download and play.

That’s some epic value for money right there!

Code in the inner workings of the Switch Online platform has shown that Wave Race, the original Mario Party titles, and Super Smash Bros may be announced incredibly soon.

Imagine doing an eight-player multiplayer with friends on Super Smash Bros… we’re so damn excited!

Final Thoughts…

Listen, we all know how these things go. Until Nintendo officially confirms that these games are on the way, we can’t really be sure as to if or when they will drop.

Still, every one of the titles I’ve mentioned above features in our best N64 games of all time article, so we must be on to something here.

If the data is there, then it’s more than likely a sure bet that we’ll be seeing these games by Q1 2022. Nintendo has already moved quickly by announcing new upcoming games, and perhaps this New N64 Games on Switch leak article will force their hand to reveal the rest…

… either that or slap us with some kind of lawsuit.

Please be the first one!
