How Much Is An N64 Worth?
A used N64 is worth between $50 – $820 depending on the condition and whether the console is part of a games/accessory bundle.
The classic grey N64 that released on the console’s launch back in 1996 is a gaming institution. For me, it’s the one console that defines my childhood, and for many, it’s the best console of the ’90s.
The original N64 shipped with a light grey controller and advertised some of the exciting games available on the back of the box. Of the 32-million consoles sold, I doubt many people kept hold of the original packaging or manuals, which is why used-boxed consoles certainly fetch a pretty penny these days!
So many listings online advertise a used N64 with cables only, though there are some great bundles to be found if you have the money.
A refurbished N64 comes in anywhere between $60 – $290. Gamers can expect to spend more on a refurbished console that comes as part of a peripheral bundle or a unit that has an outer case in near-mint condition.
When it comes to sealed systems, most original N64 launch consoles sell for around the $799 mark. A sealed Star Wars Episode 1: Racer bundle recently sold for a whopping $1,700!

How Much Is A Limited Edition N64 Worth?
A used limited edition N64 is worth around $205 – $368 depending on style and whether it comes complete with box or accessories.
I can still remember the first time I clocked a limited edition N64 console. It was fire orange, crystal, and showed off all the inner-workings of the system.
Limited edition coloured N64 consoles in used condition vary in price depending on their condition and rare status. It’s cheaper to buy one in refurbished condition, with prices falling anywhere between $158 – $250.
Sealed limited edition consoles, including the all-gold N64, sell for upwards of $500. So, if you happened to put 10 away back in the day, then you might have a little goldmine on your hands.
Sealed Pikachu consoles bring the most money in, selling for upwards of $1,000! No wonder the little dude always looks so happy!
Sealed Pikachu Console: $1,026+

How Much Is an N64 DD Worth?
A used N64 DD is worth anywhere between $1,600 – $2,500 depending on whether it comes boxed and with an original manual.
Ah, the N64 DD… Nintendo’s embarrassing secret that sadly everyone knows about.
I love the N64, but the DD was an absolute waste of time. Only a few games dropped for it, and Nintendo subsequently sacked it off…
… which means that it’s worth an absolute fortune now!
There are currently no new or refurbished units out there to buy, and only a handful of used DDs exist on second hand sites.
However, if you’re after a piece of Nintendo history and have around $2,000 going spare, then go wild!

How Much Is An N64 Controller Worth
A used N64 controller is worth $21 – $369 depending on whether it’s a third-party peripheral or an original accessory. The price also fluctuates depending on whether the controller is boxed.
There are so many styles and third-party versions out there that it’s hard to pick the best N64 controllers. For the purposes of this little retro gaming exercise, however, we’re going to stick with the original shaped controller.
This original design is produced by third-party sellers without the trademark Nintendo logo on the top badge. Those remotes sell for pretty cheap, where as limited edition bonafide jungle green controllers without a box still sell for around $369!
Original controllers refurbished by sellers tend to sell for anywhere between $24 and $90, with limited colours and themed remotes bringing in the bacon more than the standard grey remote.
Unofficial sealed N64 controllers sell for around $15 brand new, and sealed original controllers, a.k.a the original red or grey remotes, sell for upwards of $125.
