Block out all other thoughts for a couple of minutes and clip on a plastic cape as we check out the best Lego Marvel games of all time.
Block out… Lego blocks… get it? (Tough crowd).
We’re a huge fan of the best Lego games for all platforms; not only are they super funny and a joy to play, but they’re also inventive, exciting, and have some serious replayability that keeps us coming back for more time and time again.
What is it about seeing our favourite characters in Lego form that sends us into a frenzy? Is it because Lego was such a big part of our childhoods and these games make us think back to when life was simpler?
Or is is just because we’re massive nerds and Lego is cool?
Whatever the reason, Lego games are awesome and here to stay, and while there aren’t many Marvel themed games, the ones that we do have to choose from are out of this world.
So, let’s waste no more time and kick off with Number 4 in our best Lego Marvel games list!
4. Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 (2017)

Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 kicks off our list of the best Lego Marvel games of all time.
One of the best features of the Lego games is that they boast so many characters from the Marvel Universe to play as.
Choose from Captain Marvel to Bucky Barnes, Spiderman 2099 to Colleen Wing and even Stan Lee, all in a finely crafted original story of epic proportions.

Once you see a Lego version of Baby Groot, there’s nothing more that I need to say in order to convince you to grab this game, right?
Kang the Conqueror is the antagonist in this game, and to make things harder, you’ve got to thwart him through time.
So, this is going to be an easy ride, right?
Taking items through time and space and unlocking characters along the way makes for some seriously fun gameplay, however, and the multiplayer mode keeps us occupied for hours once we get stuck into it.
I do feel bad for putting this game last in the list, but as there’s only 4 titles here it had to go somewhere!
3. Lego Marvel Superheroes (2013)

Lego Marvel Superheroes takes the 3rd spot on this list of the best Lego Marvel games of all time. Where as the next game in the list is definitely Avenger heavy when it comes to the characters list, this game dives deeper into the pool of Marvel characters.
How does playing as Ghost Rider or Drax the Destroyer. What about Captain Britain?
Yeah, we had a kick-ass Captain too!

Like the previous game, Lego Marvel Superheroes follows its own original storyline. It won’t surprise you to know that Loki is causing trouble throughout the MCU, and this time he’s turned the Silver Surfer’s board into a weapon.
Along with Dr Doom, Galactus, and other evil faces, he’s trying to make as much trouble for our blocky heroes as possible. Fight for the fate of the world and try not to lose your head in the process.
Which, for Lego characters, is probably pretty hard. And we don’t want The Hulk stepping on a Lego head; he’s already angry enough!
2. Lego Marvel Avengers (2016)

Lego Marvel Avengers is up next, and although it doesn’t follow a new story like the other games above, the fact that it has over 200 characters to play with is completely out of this world!
Plus, if you’re a super fan of The Avengers Movies, then playing through key points of the first batch of Avengers films will feel like Christmas has come early.
I’m not just talking The Avengers and Age of Ultron either; I’m talking about all the films that come between them too like Thor: The Dark World, Iron Man 3, and both Captain America and The Winter Soldier!

Take everyone from Agent Carter to Luke Cage out into battle, playing through key locations such as Sokovia, Washington DC, and of course New York City.
And as you’ll no doubt have read before here on Retro Dodo, we’re a huge fan of the humour in these games. They add so much more comedy to the Avengers films in a way that only little blocky dudes and dudettes can manage.
Plus with sound clips from the actual film too, it’s one of the most immersive and also inventive Avengers experiences out there!
1. Lego Marvel Collection (2019)

The Lego Marvel Collection tops our list of the best Lego Marvel Games of all time, purely because it’s a collection of all the other three games in our list.
I mean, three for the price of one – you really can’t go wrong with that, can you.
Lego Marvel Superheroes 1 and 2 along with Lego Marvel Avengers, with all of the extra content already available for you to play right off the bat.

Having all three games in one place is definitely the best value for money and the best way to play the Lego Marvel games series today. I mean, considering the fact that you can get hold of a copy for under $20/£20.
Which is your favourite Marvel Lego game out of the three? Let us know over on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
